About Me

I compose for games, & mix and produce for artists and bands. In my spare time, I enjoy running on the lakeshore trail, cooking, and singing to my plants.

Demos & AI Disclaimer

I believe AI has no place in artistic or creative projects. That said, I have used generative AI to change my voice in several demos, but NOT for any composition, production, mixing, or otherwise.

I don't use any AI in my work unless the client specifically asks for it.

Demos are made with synth leads in place of lead vocal melodies.

What's your mixing experience?

I have mixed for many local artists and bands in Chicago, spanning genres from punk rock, Afro-fusion, R&B, and singer-songwriter acoustic.

What are your rates?

Because every project is different, with different scopes and levels of time involved, I work this out with each client. My rates span from $125 to $300 for typical projects.

How do you approach music?

I was classically trained in piano during my childhood, then self-taught in pop / jazz styles from there. I interned for a year learning recording at a local studio. I learn from other artists online and in my network, and am currently taking theory courses at a local college to augment my (over-developed) ear for music!

For every project, I always consider first "What's the story you want to tell?" We can list out themes, inspiration, similar artists, but at the end of the day my goal is to communicate YOUR message.
